Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share a quick update on how the book is coming along. I’ll post more frequently here once my first draft is finished, which should be by the end of the month! It’s been a minute since I’ve discussed the book, and especially since things are really picking up, I figured now would be a good time to talk about it!

As I stated earlier on my blog, I started this company to publish my own gaming adventures, and I’ve spent the last several months writing and editing a Savage Worlds sci-fi/horror adventure called The Last Voyage of the Charon. This futuristic adventure concerns employees of a monolithic megacorporation who are tasked with discovering the fate of the Charon, a terraforming spaceship that seemingly vanished without a trace on the distant moon SEK 6891. What they find there will shake them to the core, as there is more on the supposedly deserted lunar landscape than just the survivors.

With the diligent efforts of Brian Reeves, editor par excellence, I’m one step closer to making it happen. By the end of May, I’ll have a working draft of this adventure to test out. I haven’t playtested this yet, but I’m excited to put it through its paces and work out the kinks. If you live near Wisconsin, I’ll be playtesting it at Egg Con in Lake Geneva and Gamehole Con in Madison. Feel free to say hi!

I am also working with Adobe InDesign so I can do my own layout and book design for Charon. It’s been a lot of fun so far, and very rewarding to work with. I want to put it out there that I’m working very hard to make sure my products are high-quality and professionally designed, so your patience will be rewarded!

About a month (or so) ago, I put up a free product under a line called Creepy Cryptids. I’ll be reissuing my first cryptid, The Beast of Bray Road, with new art by Lyn Redder! She’s great to work with, and I’ll include a link to both her and Brian’s blogs below.

I’ll also continue to post art sketches from Cliff Gamble, my artist for the Charon project, as they come in. It’s great to work with so many awesome professionals! This project is coming together well, and if you’re reading this, I’m glad you’re a part of it. It’s gonna be awesome.
